A Visualization Analysis of Youth Sports in China Using CiteSpace
This article presents a visual analysis of 729 core documents retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database by employing the CiteSpace tool.The results indicate that:(1)The publication trend of youth sports research in China demonstrates a wavy growth pattern;(2)The principal researchers include Liu Mingyi,Kong Nianxin,et al.,and the main research institutions are Wuhan Sports University,Shanghai University of Sport,Central China Normal University,East China Normal University,Beijing Sport University,etc.;(3)The keywords with the highest frequency of occurrence are"youth","integration of sports and education","school physical education","physical education","sports management","physical exercise",etc.;(4)The cutting-edge trends of research are the new era,integration of sports and education,school physical education,and collaborative governance.Suggestions:(1)Other institutions and schools should intensify their research efforts in this domain;(2)Enhance communication among institutions to strengthen research in the field of youth sports;(3)Expand the research perspectives and grasp the frontier topics and trends.
