秀丽隐杆线虫(Caenorhabditis elegans,以下简称"线虫")在遗传物质上与人类具有同源性,且具有易操作、生命周期短、荧光标记易观察、基因背景清晰等特点,适合应用于构建运动模型并探究相关机制。在应用线虫运动模型的研究中,探讨了运动与寿命之间的联系。线虫运动实验的干预实施方式方便简捷、易于操作,具体包括神经元控制、挖掘实验、游泳实验以及物理性运动刺激等。在应用层面,研究着重梳理了微流控等创新技术的可行性。在机制层面,基于已有证据总结了运动延寿功效产生的潜在途径,明确了线虫作为人类寿命的模式化翻版,对比现有其他常见运动模型发现,线虫模型具备更为清晰的生物学背景。此外,线虫模型能够提供跨代遗传现象的直观证据,有助于理解运动抗衰老的长期效应,为探索运动在人类健康寿命延长中的作用提供了新视角和实验模型。
Research Progress on Longevity Efficacy and Related Mechanisms Based on Caenorhabditis Elegans Exercise Models
Caenorhabditis elegans(C.elegans),a nematode with significant genetic homology to humans,offers distinct advantages as a model organism,including ease of manipulation,short life cycle,the availability of clear fluorescence labeling and a well-characterized genetic background.Some studies have investigated the relationship between exercise and lifespan by using C.elegans as exercise model.The application of exercise interventions in C.elegans is straightforward,and the intervention methods including neuronal stimulation,burrowing and swimming assays,and physical exercise protocols.The feasibility of novel technologies,such as microfluidics,has also been critically assessed.For the mechanisms,various pathways are summarized in exercise extending lifespan based on current evidence.As a model organism,C.elegans provides a more precise biological analog to human aging than many existing models and uniquely offers direct evidence of transgenerational inheritance.These characterizes of C.elegans facilitates a deeper understanding of the long-term effects of exercise on aging,and presenting a novel experimental platform for investigating the role of physical activity in extending human health span.
