A Study on Grade Evaluation of the Offensive and Defensive Ability of High Level Men's Volleyball Match:the Eexample of 2022 Volleyball Men's World Championship
Taking 24 men's volleyball teams in the 2022 Volleyball Men's World Championship as the research object,using the research methods of literature reviewing,video analysis and mathematical statistics,this paper evaluated the offensive and defensive indicators of men's volleyball teams in various countries,analyzed the offensive and defensive ability of Chinese teams and world strong teams,and put forward some suggestions.Results:The offensive,defensive and offensive-defensive WRSR values of each team are distributed at B,C and D levels,with Poland,Brazil,France,Ukraine,Argentina,Serbia and the Netherlands at the B level and China at the C level.The defensive and offensive-defensive WRSR values reached the B level for the top 4 teams only,and the Chinese team is in the middle and upper level although they are all at the D level.The offensive,defensive and offensive-defensive WRSR values of each team were statistically significant about the final ranking(P<0.01).All teams were divided into 5 classes,and the first grade of defensive and offensive-defensive ability included the top 4 teams,which represented the highest level of volleyball teams in the world today.The offensive ability of Italy and Slove-nia were top 4 teams were located in the 2nd and 3rd class,respectively.They were slightly lacking in offensive ability,but rely on excellent defensive ability to make up for it.China was also a team with stronger defensive ability,with offensive abili-ty in the 5th class,defensive ability in the 4th class and overall in the 4th class.The technical and tactical characteristics of high-level strong teams in the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship were as follows:The attacking point of the smash was changeable and the route was diversified;the service was very aggressive;block awareness was high and the loca-tion was accurate.
