The Research Trends on the Professional Identity of International Physical Education Teachers since the New Century and its Enlightenment to China
In order to gain an in-depth understanding of the cutting-edge research progress on physical education(PE)teachers'professional identity in international scope,systematic literature review and content analysis were used to sort out and analyze the academic English literature related to the professional identity of physical education teachers published during 2000-2022,and then put forward the research enlightenment to our country.The results showed that the study of sports teachers'identity gradually increased after 2011.The research focuses on the influence factors of the construction of PE teacher professional identity,physical education teacher education(PETE)and the formation of PE teacher professional identity,different professional categories of PE teacher professional identity;special experience,the concept and the professional identity of PE teachers.The theoretical perspec-tives and research methods of international sports teachers'professional identity research are diversified.Enlightenments on the study:adjust and optimize the curriculum of PETE;attach importance to the role of education internship,pre-employment and on-the-job training in improving PE teachers'professional identity through reconstruction of rural education ecology;combination of multi-disciplinary theory and method to conduct empirical research on the identity of sports teachers.
