An Analysis of the Value Orientation of the"Sports"Clause of the Constitutions——On the Value Orientation and Characteristics of China's Newly Revised"Sports Law"
By means of text analysis and keyword statistics,this paper attempts to clarify the value orientation of constitutions to sports in various countries through comparative research,with a view to serving as a reference for future sports legislation at all levels and in all types in China.Based on the sports provisions of the English(Translated)constitutions of 89 countries a⁃round the world,this paper summarizes,analyzes and demonstrates the value orientation of these provisions,and concludes that:sports has health protection value,educational value and humanistic value for individuals;It has a cultural value,an e⁃conomic value and a protective value for special populations to society;For nations and countries,sports has the instrumental value of promoting national identity and enhancing state influence.The value orientation of China's newly revised sports law is not much different from that of other countries in the world,which reflects that our understanding and attitude towards sports have something in common with other countries in the world.However,it also has its own characteristics,which are mainly re⁃flected in three aspects:first,it highlights the cultural value orientation;second,it highlights the"peoplehood"of the value orientation;third,the value orientation is more targeted and specific.
