RESEARCH ON TECHNICAL RENOVATION METHOD OF"REPLACING SMALL WITH LARGE"IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF WIND POWER
In response to the issue of wind turbine retirement in China's wind power industry, this paper examines the current policy status of implementing"replacing small with large"technical renovation method in wind farms.Taking a"replacing small with large"technical renovation demonstration project in a wind farm in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region as an example, the safety and economy of"replacing small with large"technical renovation projects,as well as its demonstration effects in four aspects:technical renovation, power transmission and consumption, industrial upgrading, and revitalization of old areas are analyzed. The study identifies three key issues in promoting"replacing small with large"technical renovation projects in China:land use, approval, and feed-in tariffs. It then proposes relevant suggestions from both national and corporate levels to provide a more favorable policy and technical environment for the"replacing small with large"technical renovation method in wind farms.
