RESEARCH ON EVALUATION OF SOLAR ENERGY RESOURCES AND TECHNICAL EXPLOITABLE AMOUNT OF PV POWER GENERATION IN HUADE COUNTY
This paper uses monthly solar radiation data, monthly average sunshine hours, and sunshine percentage data from the Huade County Meteorological Station in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 1993 to 2022,as well as national basic geographic data with a spatial resolution of 75 m×75 m,to analyze and evaluate the solar energy resources in Huade County through GIS technology. Then, considering the influence of local terrain, after excluding undeveloped areas and a certain proportion of restricted development areas, the local PV power generation exploitable areas are obtained, and the technical exploitable amount of PV power generation is calculated. The research results show that:1)The mean value of annual average total solar irradiance on the horizontal plane in the whole county is 1561.3 kWh/m2,the mean value of annual average total solar irradiance on the optimal inclined plane of fixed PV power generation is 2076.3 kWh/m2,and the mean value of annual average total solar irradiance on the optimal inclined plane of adjustable PV power generation is 2141.6 kWh/m2,belonging to Class B(i.e."very abundant")of China's total solar energy resources.2)The spatial distribution of solar energy resources in the whole county shows a gradual decrease from southwest to northeast, and the total solar irradiance on the horizontal plane during the year follows a normal distribution, belonging to the stability level C(i.e."general")of China's solar energy resources.3)The available land area for PV power generation in the county accounts for 31.71%of the total area, and the technical exploitable amount of PV power generation is 21075 MW,mainly concentrated in the area with a total solar irradiance of 2000~2200 kWh/m2.From this,it can be seen that there is great potential for the development of solar energy resources in Huade County, and the development potential of PV power generation is enormous. The research results can provide technical support and scientific basis for the development of solar energy resources and the construction of PV power stations in Huade County in the future.
