EFFECTS OF MODIFIED TREATMENT ON THE BIOFUELS FROM HYDROTHERMAL LIQUEFACTION OF CORN STALKS
The fresh corn stalks were pretreated by acid modified treatment and fermentation modified treatment and then directly liquefied in a batch autoclave with high temperature and high pressure. The change of the micro-fabric features and functional groups were analyzed. The yield and compounds of biofuels were examined. The results showed the structure of lignocellulose in corn stalks was be destroyed by the acid treatment and fermentation treatment, but functional groups were changed little. All the modified treatments could enhance the biofuels yield and conversion yield, while the fermentation treatment was best for them. With the fermentation treatment, the biofuels yield and conversion yield were increased to 39.95% and 86.61%,respectively.The content of six compounds with their relative content >4% was 54.84% in total.
