EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF PV/T-BASED DUAL-SOURCE HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER
To improve the efficiency of heat pump hot water system yearly round, this study conducts the experimental tests of a dual source heat pump hot water system based on photovoltaic/photothermal(PV/T),including the performance of system reliability, heat pump and PV/T operation performance under four typical days over the year. The main results are listed as follows:First, the power and hot water supply of the system can be used stably over the selected conditions.Besides, among the four working conditions, the maximum heating coefficient of performance(COPh)reaches 6.2 with the ambient temperature of 27.3℃and the solar irradiance of 975.6 W/m2.Finally,the PV/T also shows more efficiency than the conventional PV,and the average photoelectric conversion efficiency is 6.6%higher than that of conventional PV.The total power generation is also 0.11 kWh higher than that of conventional PV under selected condition.
