RESEARCH ON MAXIMUM POWER POINT TRACKING STRATEGY OF WIND TURBINE BASED ON DIRECT SPEED CONTROL
This paper analyzes wind turbine rotor aerodynamic torque at various wind speeds and the generator's torque-speed trajectory during maximum power point tracking.It introduces a dynamic optimal generator speed calculation method based on generator electromagnetic torque.A feedback controller based on speed deviation is then designed and tested for control effectiveness in constant and variable speed zones.Simulation and field tests confirm that this direct speed control approach successfully tracks the maximum power point,offering a unified control solution for both speed zones.The simple and practical control logic holds promise for broad application in the wind power industry.
