CAPACITY OPTIMIZATION OF HYBRID ENERGY STORAGE POWER GENERATION SYSTEM IN REGIONAL POWER SYSTEM
To increase the proportion of new energy sources such as wind and photovoltaic power in regional power generation systems,a two-level optimal configuration model for power generation system capacity with hybrid energy storage is proposed under a tiered carbon pricing mechanism. This model utilizes battery energy storage combined with pumped hydro storage for large-scale charging and discharging to maximize system benefits. The upper level aims to minimize the system's investment payback period, while the lower level aims to maximize annual operational benefits. An improved grey wolf optimizer is employed to solve the constructed two-level model. The results indicate that the proposed model can enhance both the electricity sales revenue and the scale of new energy deployment in the power generation system, while also improving the system's environmental friendliness.
