RESEARCH ON A HYBRID CASCADE NINE-LEVEL INVERTER AND ITS MODULATION STRATEGY
In order to solve the problem of power backflow in the traditional 1∶3 hybrid cascaded inverter,a hybrid cascaded nine-level inverter topology with coupled inductor is constructed based on the five-level rectifier.Firstly,by reconstructing the modulation wave,a hybrid modulation strategy is proposed, which combines the step wave modulation with the high frequency modulation to achieve the power balance of the two-stage unit in the partial modulation range. At the same time, through in-depth analysis of the relationship between modulation and output power, the range of step wave modulation and high frequency modulation is adjusted, and the output power balance of the two-stage unit in a wider modulation range is realized. The simulation and experimental results verify the feasibility and superiority of the constructed inverter topology and modulation strategy.
