STUDY ON IMPACT OF VALVE BLOCKAGE FAULT ON HYDRAULIC AND THERMAL PERFORMANCE OF SOLAR COLLECTOR FIELD
To study the effect of valve blockage fault on solar collector field performance,an experimental system was constructed to obtain the functional relationship between the degree of valve blockage and the local resistance coefficient:ξ=0.0531×K1.7351.A comprehensive simulation model was developed to analyze hydraulic and thermal impacts of valve blockage faults on the solar thermal field. The Effective Comprehensive Performance index(ECP)was introduced to evaluate the collective influence on system performance.Research findings indicate that valve blockage significantly amplifies resistance imbalances in the solar collector field.Beyond a 50% blockage degree, there is a notable decline in the imbalance of resistance in the solar collector field, escalating the risk of overheating.Additionally, under the same collector area and degree of blockage, the fewer the number of branch circuits in the collector field leads to the more serious the impact on the overall performance.
