RESEARCH ON CO-PYROLYSIS CHARACTERISTICS OF WHEAT STRAW AND WASTE POLYSTYRENE FOAM
The weight loss behavior and distribution of co-pyrolysis products of wheat straw and waste polystyrene foam(WPSF)at different mixing ratios and heating rates were studied by thermogravimetric analyzer and tube furnace. The results show that the apparent activation energy of WPSF ranged from 178.27 kJ/mol to 186.84 kJ/mol,and the thermal stability of WPSF is strong.co-pyrolysis of wheat straw and WPSF has synergistic effect, especially when the mass ratio is 1∶1,which promotes the volatilization of wheat straw and reduces the formation of biochar, and reduces the activation energy of reaction at lower temperature.Co-pyrolysis shows positive synergistic effect on liquid and gas phase yields, but negative synergistic effect on solid phase yields, which promotes the generation of hydrocarbon gases and inhibits the generation of oxygen-containing gases.Temperature affects the distribution of co-pyrolysis products and the strength of synergistic effect, and the synergistic effect is the strongest at 800℃.With the increase of pyrolysis temperature, the solid phase yield decreases, while the liquid phase yield first increases and then decreases. The proportion of hydrocarbon gas and H2 increases, while the proportion of CO and CO2 decreases.
