Each traditional dance has the most unique elements,which is the key to distinguishing it from others.To identify the most distinctive and prominent factors in traditional dance,it may be targeted for understanding the connotation of local traditional dance and for the protection and inheritance.The lantern dance props are the most unique factors in this lantern dance.Exploration of its historical changes and the symbolic interpretation of props can deepen the understanding of the change of shapes and spiritual connotation of local people.In addition,effective measures should be taken to solve the problems such as performers'lack of enthusiasm in the protection and inheritance of lantern dance as well as the limited production technology of props.The first is to awaken the cultural consciousness of heritage holders;the second is to invite experts and universities to provide technical assistance in inheritance.
