The development of the Shanxi United Front Against Japanese Aggression mingles cooperation,friction,and struggle between the new and old forces.The CPC has taken a series of strategies and practices to gradually take control over the grass-roots political power in the areas by combining forces against Japanese aggression.And the mobilization of these forces reflects the combination of political,military and productive powers on the grassroots level.With the struggle of new and old forces of the Shanxi United Front Against Japanese Aggression,most of the grass-roots political power in Shanxi has gradually shifted from the military and gentry regime to the workers,peasants and soldiers'regime,which laid a solid foundation for the CPC to expand the strongholds against Japanese aggression.in North China.
