Spatial Distribution and Influencing Factors of Traditional Villages in Central Henan Province
With the help of ArcGIS 10.8 and other tools, using mathematical analysis meth-ods such as imbalance index, nearest neighbor index and kernel density analysis, this paper selects cen-tral Henan Province as the research area, counts 310 national and provincial traditional villages, and studies their spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors. The final results show that:1)the overall regional distribution of traditional villages in central Henan is unbalanced, and the spatial distribution pattern is cohesive, which is generally summarized as a pattern of"large agglomeration and small dispersion";2)The central and western areas of jia county in Pingdingshan City are high-density areas;Baofeng County,Yuzhou City,Dengfeng City,Lushan County and Wuyang County are low-density areas.3)The main factors affecting its distribution are elevation, water system,traffic,popula-tion and socio-economic factors, etc.,and its distribution gradually decreases with the increase of alti-tude;With the increase of the distance between traditional villages and water buffer, their number first decreases and then increases; The closer the traditional village is to the road, the more it is distributed. In areas with developed economy, high level of urbanization and large population, the fewer the num-ber of traditional villages, the better their preservation.
