By using the method of literature review,this paper analyzed the significance and dilemma of the governance of emerging sports events in China,and put forward the path to improve governance.Significance:It promotes the high-quality development of the emerging sports industry,promotes China's better integration into the global sports governance system,accelerates the improvement of the level of multi-sectoral sports collaborative governance,and further promotes the modernization of China's sports governance system and governance capacity.Governance dilemma:The event management mechanism needs to be clarified,the event standard system needs to be improved,the event organization is not standardized enough,and the comprehensive management of the event is difficult.Governance path:We should clarify the governance concept of attaching equal importance to regulation and development,optimize the management mechanism,improve the events standard system,focus on improving the operation level of the main events,and explore the construction of a comprehensive governance system.
