By using the methods of literature review,field investigation and interview,this paper analyzed the general situation and experience of the coordinated development of sports tourism in the three major bay areas in the world,and put forward the enlightenment.Experience:It builds a regional cooperation mechanism based on shared interests,implements unified planning for the Bay Area with division of labor and cooperation as the core,creates featured products with industrial collaboration as the guide,elevates influence with sports events as the driving force,and promotes high-quality development with scientific and technological innovation as the driving force.Enlightenment:We should build a cooperation mechanism to formulate a coordinated development plan,coordinate the division of labor and cooperate to create distinctive products,build a cooperation platform to deepen resource integration and development,create brand events to enhance the competitiveness of the Greater Bay Area,and strengthen science and technology sharing to promote intelligent development.
