The effects of different normalizing temperatures on the microstructure, precipitation behaviors and mag-netic properties of non oriented silicon steel samples were studied by metallographic microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope, energy spectrum analysis(SEM&EDS)and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The results show that the grains of the normalized samples are completely recrystallized at 950℃,and with the increase of the normalization temperature, the grains gradually grow and form equiaxed grains. The average grain size of the finished annealed plate is the largest. The precipitations in the normalized sample is mainly AlN,accompanied by a small amount of AlN-MnS composite phase.Theoretical calculation shows that the pinning force of micron precipita-tions is less than the driving force of grain boundary growth,so it is difficult for precipitations to hinder grain growth. The magnetic induction intensity of the samples treated at different normalizing temperatures is lower than that of the hot rolled plate, but with the increase of normalizing temperature, the magnetic induction intensity rea-ches the peak at 950℃.
