The micro-texture was fabricated on the valve plate surface and its antifriction characteristics were stud-ied.The orthogonal test method was used to conduct the simulation study of the valve plate pair,and the order of in-fluence of various factors on the friction of the valve plate pair was as follows:speed>oil film thickness>depth>shape>diameter>area rate.The optimal parameter combination was obtained as follows:spherical pit with diame-ter of 400 μm and depth of 200 μm,pit area rate of 6%,oil film thickness of 15 μm,and speed of 1 500 r/min.The velocity field,pressure field and dynamic pressure bearing capacity of the micro-textured carrier are analyzed.A friction test system was built for the valve plate pair of the axial piston pump.Under different load pressures(4,8,12 MPa)and working flow rates(10,20,35 L/min),the friction characteristics of the micro-texture valve plate with the best parameters were tested.The test results show that the friction torque value of the micro-texture valve plate is smaller than that of the smooth valve plate,the maximum torque difference is 1.53 N·m,and the maxi-mum friction torque reduction rate is 12.47%.
