The micro-nano-scale natural pyrite was prepared by mechanical ball milling activation,and character-ized by X-ray diffractometer(XRD)and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The reduction of the materials on Cr(Ⅵ)in water was investigated under the conditions of different dosage,temperature and pH.The results show that the removal rate of Cr(Ⅵ)in water increases with the increase of the dosage of micro-nano-scale natural py-rite.For Cr(Ⅵ)solution with a concentration of 10 mg·L-1,1.0 g can be completely removed;With the increase of temperature,the removal rate of Cr(Ⅵ)from micro-nano-scale natural pyrite in water increases,and the removal rate can reach 97.8% under the condition of 45℃and reaction time of 2 h;Within the pH range of 2~7,the re-moval ability of micro-nano-scale natural pyrite to Cr(Ⅵ)in water decreases with the increase of the original pH value of the solution.When the pH value is 2,the removal rate is the highest,which is 95%.The pseudo-second-or-der kinetic equation can better fit the process of removing Cr(Ⅵ)from water by micro-nano-scale natural pyrite.
