The hybrid structure, with its upper part made of steel and the lower part made of concrete,ef-fectively reduces the structure's weight and seismic impact. This makes it more economical and practical com-pared to ordinary RC or hybrid structures. However, research on the joints of such structures is still in its early stages, and there are no standardized guidelines to follow. Therefore,a thorough study of these joints is neces-sary before their application in practical engineering. This paper presented a study on the steel-reinforced con-crete column joint of the Zhangjiawan Rolling Stock Depot in Beijing, which features a steel upper structure and a concrete lower structure.Numerical simulations of the joint were conducted under persistent design situations and seismic design situations. The results demonstrated the joint's overall reliability and suitability for the con-struction of the Zhangjiawan Rolling Stock Depot in Beijing.Furthermore, this study provided valuable insights for the design of similar joints in comparable structures.
