This study investigates the causes of transmission line tower base plate detachment and outlines effective engineering preventive measures.To address challenges such as irregularly shaped and sized separation areas,uncertainly in qualitatively assessing the degree of damage,a force calculation method based on area equivalence is proposed in this paper.By introducing the safety index and deriving relevant calculation formu-las,the impact of tower base plate detachment damage on structural stress safety performance is quantitatively evaluated using the safety index value.This study serves as valuable references for assessing,identifying,modi-fying,and reinforcing tower base plate detachment in transmission line projects.
