The construction process of pipe jacking inevitably disturbs the surrounding soil, causing deform-ation within a certain range.Taking the Nanniwan large-diameter power tunnel pipe jacking project as an exam-ple,this paper investigates the influence of multiple factors including friction coefficient, support pressure, grouting pressure, pipeline burial depth, and pipeline diameter on surface settlement through numerical simula-tion.The results indicate that the increase of friction coefficient leads to greater surface settlement.Support pressure affects surface settlement above the pipe axis, but its influence diminishes beyond twice the pipe diam-eter.Proper grouting pressure can mitigate surface soil deformation. The depth of the pipe affects both the maxi-mum ground settlement value and the width of the settlement trough.Deeper burial depths expand the influence range. The increase in pipeline diameter will significantly increase the maximum settlement of the soil around the pipe. This study serves as a valuable reference for implementing measures to control surface settlement resul-ting from pipe jacking construction.
