A certain office building(total height 143.7 m)in the 8 degree zone adopts shear wall structure system.There are two exceeding limits,namely height exceeding limit and sudden stiffness change on the fourth floor.It is necessary to ensure that the over limit structure meets the current regulatory requirements,while the dynamic characteristics of the two directions of the structure are similar.YJK and Midas building software were used to calculate the structure,including small earthquake response spectrum analysis,small earthquake elastic time history analysis,nominal tensile stress verification of wall limbs under moderate earth-quakes,and large earthquake elastic-plastic time history analysis.And supplementary calculations were car-ried out on the shear wall model and solid element model of key parts of the structure,ensuring the reliability of the structural design.The results showed that the efficiency of the structure has been improved through rea-sonable structural plane layout,which could safely ensure seismic performance under small and large earth-quakes.
