Most of the masonry chimneys preserved as industrial sites in cities have transformed into iconic landscape structures.The main structural form of the renovated masonry chimney remains unchanged,and only the external surface is decorated.Some chimneys have been in use for over a hundred years,and due to a lack of daily maintenance,their current usage condition is poor.It is necessary to conduct testing and identification be-fore continuing to use them.This article is based on the renovation and renewal project of landscape chimneys in municipal cultural relics points,and studies the application of digital surveying and mapping technology in the de-tection and evaluation of masonry structure chimneys,which has guiding significance for future detection work.
