In order to solve the problems of large size, difficult design and construction of conventional under-ground space conversion structure,a novel steel concrete frame structure with inclined support which has light weight, small section and large span capacity was proposed as a long-span underground space conversion struc-ture.The finite element software Midas was used to analyze the stress mode of the new structure under concentrat-ed load. And the results showed that the positive and negative bending moments of the new structure were reduced by 72%and 17%respectively,and the outside bending moments of the column were reduced by 20%.The axial force and shear force of the inner beam and column of the new structure were related to the layout of the inclined support. The deflection of the beam of the new structure was reduced by 33%and the lateral deformation of the column was increased by 20%.The economic analysis showed that compared with the conventional structural steel concrete transfer beam, the new structural transfer beam could reduce the dead weight by 27%,save steel by 10%,and reduce the comprehensive cost by about 10%,which has good economic benefits.
