In this paper, the assembled steel-encased concrete composite beam floor system was construc-ted.The feasibility of the assembled composite floor was explored by finite element analysis of the vertical me-chanical performance difference between the cast-in-place and the assembled composite floor. The failure mode of the assembled two-way composite floor was analyzed, and the ultimate bearing capacity of the two basic failure mechanisms of'plate failure'and'beam failure'was calculated by using the plastic hinge line method and the a-nalogy plate method. The results showed that there is no significant difference in the ultimate bearing capacity between the assembled composite floor and the cast-in-place composite floor, and the stiffness decreases, but there is still good performance. The calculation method of ultimate bearing capacity can accurately judge the failure mode of the structure, which would provide reference for the improvement of similar structures.
