In order to improve the construction accuracy of steel tower, the hierarchical coordinate control is proposed to study the installation accuracy of steel tower.Based on BIM technology, the double layered tubular steel tower was segmented and stratified, and the component model of steel tower was established. The layer of steel tower model was mainly divided into one layer of steel column plane, one layer of outer cylinder, two lay-ers of outer cylinder, three layers of outer cylinder, one layer of tower top and two layers of tower top.For each layered system,4 outer tube points and 2 inner tube points were selected as coordinate points, and the reflection plate was pasted on the sitting points.Based on hierarchical coordinate, each layer of steel tower column was in-stalled and constructed. The deviation of the whole facade and the deviation of the total height of the main steel structure were selected as the deviation control factors. The results showed that the deviation mainly presents a stage from increasing to stabilizing, and the maximum offset of the overall facade is 19mm,and the maximum deviation of the total height of the steel structure is 20mm.The hierarchical coordinate method could effectively control the deviation of steel tower in a reasonable range.
