EMA/CR TPV Compressed Mullins Effect and Reversible Recovery
Ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymer(EMA)/chloroprene rubber(CR)thermoplastic vulcanized rubber(TPV)was prepared by dynamic vulcanization, and the TPV microstructure,com-pression Mullins effect and reversible recovery behavior were systematically studied. The results showed that the microscopic phase morphology of EMA/CR TPV showed a typical"sea-island"phase structure. In the uniaxial cyclic compression mode,TPV had obvious Mullins effect. With the increase of the loading-unloading cycles, the maximum compression stress, internal friction and tanδ of TPV gradually decreased, but the instantaneous residual deformation and stress softening factors showed an increasing trend. With the increase of compression strain, the maximum compression stress,instanta-neous residual deformation, internal friction and tanδ of TPV increased significantly.Under heat treat-ment conditions, the reversible recovery degree of TPV Mullins effect was significantly improved, and the recovery effect was better at 80 ℃.
