Influence of Fineness and Surface Organic Species Content on Properties of Thermal Pyrolysis Carbon Black of Waste Tires
Thermal pyrolysis carbon black with different fineness and surface organic species con-tent was obtained by impact grinding and high temperature treatment. The effects of grinding fineness and surface organic species content on the properties of thermal pyrolysis carbon black of waste tire were studied. The results showed that the fineness of grinding and the content of organic species on the surface were important factors affecting the reinforcing properties of thermal pyrolysis carbon black. The smaller the particle size after grinding, the higher the tensile strength and tear strength of compound. When the fineness reached a certain level, the reinforcing performance increased slowly with the decrease of particle size. After high temperature treatment, the light transmittance and vola-tile content of toluene extract decreased, and the modulus first increased and then decreased.
