Effect of Adhesive Content on Bonding Properties of CR Coated Fiberglass Cloth
The influence of the amount of fiberglass cloth coating adhesive on the interlayer bond-ing strength and tensile shear strength of the thin rubberized fiberglass cloth was studied and ana-lyzed.The results showed that with the increase of the adhesive content, the interlayer adhesion strength and tensile shear strength of rubberized cloth increased first and then decreased, and reached the peak value when the adhesive content was 20%.The SEM photos showed that, the failure inter-face of the adhesive samples with different adhesive content showed obvious differences, which clari-fied the reasons for the change trend of the adhesive strength and tensile shear strength. The infrared spectra of fiberglass cloth,CR and the interlayer adhesion failure interface of rubberized cloth were consistent with the SEM photos, which further proved the trend of the interlayer adhesion strength and tensile shear strength of the rubberized cloth.
