The test principle,test method and calculation method of high insulation resistance measuring instrument were reviewed.The main factors affecting the resistivity test of rubber materi-als were analyzed,including the sample thickness,laboratory temperature and humidity and test time.The results showed that the thickness had little effect on the resistivity,but the laboratory tempera-ture and humidity had significant influence on the resistivity.When the test resistance value was high,the test time should be appropriately extended to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
