摘要
《资本论》交付印刷后,马克思向恩格斯推荐巴尔扎克的《玄妙的杰作》,称其充满"值得玩味的讽刺".该小说讲述弗朗霍费潜心钻研现代主义绘画,却遭受同行的误解与打击,最终焚毁作品并自杀.马克思推荐此小说,正是因为《资本论》大量运用现代艺术技巧,充满现代性批判,艺术风格与弗朗霍费的绘画颇有相似;而后者的创新以"失败"告终,也暗合马克思对《资本论》命运的担忧,该小说可谓《资本论》创作心路的沉重表达.与小说中为谋生而向市场妥协的画家不同,马克思与弗朗霍费拥有坚定的创作志向,表征艺术人文精神对资本主义市场法则的抵抗.
Abstract
When the Capital was published,Marx recommended Engels Balzac's the Mysterious Masterpiece,and claimed that the book was full"wondering ironies".This novel is about the painter named Furlong who works hard for the modernism painting,but is misunderstood by the peers,at last he burns his works and commits suicide.Marx recommended it because its style was similar to the Capital,full of critical spirits.Marx worried that his book would have the same end as the painter.The novel expressed Marx's heavy mood at that time.Different from the young painters in the novel who work for the money,on the contrary,Marx and Furlong work for the artistic spirit,which indicates the resistance to the capital rules.
