Research on Lang Qingxiao's thought of"Interpreting Zhuangzi through Western Perspectives"
"Interpreting Zhuangzi through Western perspectives"is a major feature of Lang Qingxiao's Zhuangzi Studies,which can be illustrated by two aspects.One is to analyze Zhuangzi with the method in Western sub-discipline system and another is to interpret Zhuangzi with specific Western theories such as anarchism,skepticism,dialectics,literary theory,and economic theory,as well as modern Western natural science theories such as evolutionary theory,atomic theory,elemental theory,and psychology.His thought was systematic and innovative,but also has the obvious shortcomings of being deliberate and far-fetched,which vividly reflects the trend of"using introduced knowledge to interpret the ancient ones"in the intellectual circles of the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.
