Abstract
The paper analyses the reasons that result in poor quality in construction industry and introduces the definition and functions of the ISO 9000 Quality As urance System. In addition, the paper critical y explains the advantages and disadvantages of this system and how the implementation of it improves the quality of work provided by the local construction industry.
