Anesthesia Comparison between Remimazolam and Propofol in Painless Gastroenteroscopy Patients
Objective To investigate the anesthesia comparison between Remimazolam and propofol in patients with painless gastroenteroscopy.Method We selected 64 patients in our study, which were randomly divided into two groups:control group(group P)and experimental group(group R),who received painless gastroenteroscopy from October to December 2021.Both groups were given intravenous injection(iv)of remifentanil 0.5ug/kg followed by continuous intravenous pump injection of 0.05ug/kg/min.Then group P was given intravenous injection of propofol 1.5mg/kg,followed by 0.3mg/kg propofol iv every 5min,while group R was given Remimazolam 0.2mg/kg,followed by 0.05mg/kg Remimazolam iv every 5min.The endos-copy was performed while Ramsay's score was 6,If not,add propofol or Remimazolam every 1min.The data were recorded before administration,1min,2min,3min,5min after administration and when leaving recovery room, which included Systolic blood pressure(SBP),heart rate(HR),respiratory rate(RR)and oxygen satura-tion.The data we recorded included the duration of anesthesia induction, recovery time and exit time, the times of additional administration, remedial administration and body movement, and also included injection pain,hy-poxemia,respiratory depression, hypotension, bradycardia, nausea, vomiting and vertigo. Results The induction time ofR group was shorter than that ofP group, but the exit time was longer;the incidence of injection pain, hypotension, respiratory depression and slow HR in group R was less;the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).SBP of T3 and T5 in group R were higher, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Com-pared with T0 and R groups, the HR of T1,T3 and T4 in group P was lower, the RR of T2 in group P was lower, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Remimazolam was superior to propofol when it achieves the same sedative effect as propofol in painless gastroenteroscopy.
