Correlation Analysis of Lp-PLA2,HbA1c and Coronary Heart Disease Combined with T2DM in Elderly People
Objective To explore the correlation analysis of lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)on coronary heart disease in elderly T2DM combined. Methods 308 cases of elderly T2DM patients who attended Taizhou People's Hospital between May 01,2022 and May 31,2023 were selected and divided into 155 cases in the pure T2DM group and 153 cases in the T2DM combined with coronary artery disease group, and the levels of HbA1c and Lp-PLA2 were detected in both groups. The influenc-ing factors of T2DM combined with coronary heart disease in the elderly were analyzed by Logistics regression analysis. Results The levels of Lp-PLA2 and HbA1c in the T2DM group were 113.2(96.8,125.97)ng/mL and 6.9(5.9,8.5)%,and those in the coronary heart disease group were 156.21(132.68,183.38)ng/mL and 8.0(7.01,9.3)%,respectively the difference between the two groups was statistically significan(P<0.001).Logistics regression analysis of Lp-PLA2 and HbA1c as the influencing factors of coronary heart disease combined with T2DM in the elderly(P<0.05).Conclusion Lp-PLA2 and HbA1c are risk factors for coronary artery disease in elderly T2DM patients, which are related to the development of coronary artery disease in elderly T2DM patients, and have cer-tain clinical value in predicting the occurrence of coronary artery disease in elderly T2DM patients.
