Analysis of Usage and Rationality of Brucea Javanica Oil Emulsion Injection
Objective To strengthen the rational use of Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection in clinical practice and ensure medication safety through analysis of its usage in our hospital.Method 798 patients treated with Bru-cea javanica oil emulsion injection in our hospital in 2022 were selected to analyze the tumors treated with this drug,the wards used,and the incidence of adverse reactions.Result Among all 798 patients selected,there were 727 male patients and 271 female patients.The age ranged from 29 to 92 years,with an average age of 66.36±10.92.The most common types of tumors are esophageal malignancies,with a total of 131 cases(16.42%),fol-lowed by liver malignancies and lung malignancies,with 118 cases(14.79%)and 116 cases(14.54%),respectively.The most commonly used ward for Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection is the Gastroenterology ward,with a total of 370 cases(46.37%),followed by the Gastroenterology ward and the Hepatology ward,with 144 cases(18.05%)and 102 cases(12.78%),respectively.Among all patients,a total of 6 adverse reactions occurred,all of which were mild adverse reactions.Conclusion During clinical use,Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection should be strictly used according to indications,and attention should be paid to the occurrence of adverse reactions in pa-tients to ensure clinical medication safety.
