The movie The Silence of the Lambs is an excellent thriller film.Although the film does not use much modern photography technology,it is made into the most representative thriller film in film history with its pro-found ideas and excellent artistic techniques.The use of camera language plays a crucial role in this film.By ana-lyzing its application,this paper explores its artistic effects in plot development,psychological description,and cre-ating a suspenseful atmosphere,in order to provide reference for the creation and filming of thriller films.
