Ideological and political education is extremely important in the training of young talents.With the in-troduction of the concept of"ideological and political education in the curriculum",the role of professional courses in ideological and political education stands out.This paper conducts research and exploration on the im-portance of ideological and political elements in the professional course of animal pharmacology in higher voca-tional colleges,as well as the full exploration,implementation and application of ideological and political ele-ments,so as to help animal husbandry and veterinary majors to better realize"whole-course education and all-round education",in order to train more high-quality technical talents with firm ideals and beliefs for animal husbandry and veterinary enterprises and institutions.
