Red culture not only highlights distinct characteristics of the times,but also has profound cultural heri-tage.Integrating red culture into ideological and political education in universities and organizing red tourism for college students can help promote innovative development of ideological and political education.By studying the integration value of Taizhou's red tourism and ideological and political education in universities,the research is to enrich the content and form of ideological and political education in universities,inherit the spirit of the red revolution,stimulate contemporary college students'sense of political responsibility and historical mission,and strive to cultivate a new generation with lofty ideals,moral integrity,good education and a strong sense of disci-pline in the new era.
