Research on the Impact of Digital Infrastructure on Regional Innovation Resilience
Digital infrastructure under the new development pattern becomes a key internal driving force to en-hance regional innovation resilience.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,this paper comprehensively measures the level of digital economy and regional innovation resilience,and uses fixed effects models,mediation effects models,and other methods to examine the impact,transmission mechanism,and heterogeneity characteristics of digital infrastructure on regional innovation resilience.The study shows that digi-tal infrastructure can significantly enhance regional innovation resilience.The conclusion still holds after the ro-bustness test and endogeneity test.The mediating mechanism test finds that consumption expansion and industrial agglomeration are important channels for digital infrastructure to enhance regional innovation resilience.There is regional and temporal heterogeneity in the enhancement effect of digital infrastructure on regional innovation re-silience.And the enhancement effect on the eastern region is significantly higher than that on the central and western regions,and the upgrading effect is significantly enhanced after 2014.
