Observation of Nursing Effects of High-Flow Humidified Oxygen Therapy in Patients with Artificial Airway
Objective To observe the application effects of high-flow humidified oxygen therapy in patients with artificial airways. Methods A total of 60 patients with artificial airways admitted to the Emergency ICU of our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects. All patients with artificial air-ways used high-flow humidified oxygen therapy during non-mechanical ventilation, and the viscosity of spu-tum,blood gas analysis values, and infection indicators were evaluated. Results The viscosity of sputum at 48 hours and 72 hours after high-flow humidified oxygen therapy showed statistically significant differences com-pared before the intervention(P<0.05).Differences in respiratory rate,PaO2,SPO2,heart rate, and clinical pul-monary infection scores before and after the intervention were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion High-flow humidified oxygen therapy has good effects in patients with artificial airways, promoting sputum clearance and control of pulmonary infections.
