Application Effect of Pre-admission Management in Patients Undergoing Breast Lesion Excision
Objective To explore the application effect of pre-admission management in patients undergoing breast lesion excision. Methods A total of 441 patients who underwent breast lesion excision at our hospital from Janu-ary 2021 to February 2023 were selected.Patients admitted before February 2022 were included in the control group and received conventional inpatient management, while those in the observation group were managed with pre-admission management.Differences in management outcomes, psychological status, and satisfaction be-tween the two groups were compared. Results The average length of stay for the control group was(3.54±1.72)days,which was significantly longer than that of the observation group at(2.62±1.41)days.The average cost for the observation group was(0.98±0.38)ten thousand yuan, markedly lower than the(1.98±0.49)ten thousand yu-an for the control group.Additionally, after intervention, anxiety scores(8.79±1.84)and depression scores(7.25±1.21)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(anxiety score:10.01±2.97;depression score:9.89±1.93).Satisfaction in the observation group was 93.88%,significantly higher than the 74.11%in the control group, with statistically significant differences. Conclusion Pre-admission management has shown good effects when applied to patients undergoing breast lesion excision, effectively shortening hospital stays, reducing medical costs, improving patient satisfaction, and enhancing psychological conditions, making it worthy of clinical promotion and application.
