Application of Computer Aided Design and Rapid Prototyping Combined with PBL Teaching Method in Orthopedic Clinical Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect and feasibility of CAD technology and RP technology com-bined with PBL teaching method in orthopedic clinical teaching.Methods A total of 80 clinical medicine stu-dents practicing in the Department of Orthopedics,Affiliated Taizhou People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical Uni-versity in the academic year 2022~2023 were randomly divided into the observation group(40)and the control group(40).The observation group adoptedthe combination of CAD-RP technology and PBL teaching method,while the control group adopted the traditional PBL teaching method.After the completion of the course,regu-lar entrance examination and teaching satisfaction survey will be carried out.Results The observation group's theoretical exam scores(83.42±4.84)and skill exam scores(78.68±6.28)were significantly higher than the con-trol group's theoretical exam scores(78.62±5.12)and skill scores(72.42±7.46),with statistical significance(t=4.31、4.06,P<0.05).The satisfaction survey questionnaire results show that the observation group believes that the teaching methods adopted by the teachers in this group are more satisfactory than the control group in en-hancing learning interest,enhancing self-learning ability,enhancing clinical thinking,and enhancing knowledge application ability,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of CAD-RP technology and PBL teaching method can significantly improve the theoretical and practical abilities of interns,while also in-creasingtheir satisfaction with the clinical teacher's teaching work.
