Influence of Mechanism of Rolling and Aging on Properties of Cu-0.6Cr-0.1Zr Alloy
Cu-0.6Cr-0.1Zr alloy was fabricated based on the service conditions of ITER divertor, and effects of differ-ent rolling and aging processes on mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of the alloy were investigated. The results indicate that the optimal performance of the alloy is achieved under the condition of solution treatment of 950℃for 2 h+50%cold rolling at room temperature + aging at 450℃for 15 min + 80%cold rolling at room temperature + aging at 450℃for 2 h,where the yield strength, elongation and electrical conductivity reach 624.5 MPa,12.1%and 45.762 MS/m.The main strengthening phases and microstructure of the alloy were characterized by TEM and EBSD.The results reveal that grain boundary strengthening, dislocation strengthening, and precipitation strengthen-ing make a great contribution to the high strength of Cu-0.6Cr-0.1Zr alloy.
