Research Progress in Properties of Ceramic Particle Reinforced Nickel Matrix Composites
Nickel matrix composites exhibit excellent mechanical properties,thermal stability and corrosion resistance,while limited hardness,strength and creep resistance in harsh service conditions restrict the further application.Consid-ering that addition of ceramic particles can significantly improve the performance of nickel matrix composites,the latest research progress in different ceramic particle reinforced nickel matrix composites was reviewed.Effects of various rein-forced particles on mechanical properties of the composites were investigated,and development prospects were forecast.
