电机壳体压铸工艺数值模拟及厚壁缺陷预测

针对电动助力转向电机壳体铸造工艺复杂、铸件品质要求高等问题,应用HyperMesh软件及ProCAST软件分别进行了有限元模型的建立,对电动助力转向电机壳体铸造工艺进行模拟分析,并预测铸件内部出现缺陷的位置及大小.对工艺方案进行试生产,并对生产的铸件进行X射线探伤观察.结果表明,缺陷预测结果与实际铸件相符,在铸件两侧挂耳以及厚壁处出现缩松、缩孔缺陷.
Numerical Simulation of Die Casting Process for Motor Housing and Prediction of Thick Wall Defects
Aiming at the complex casting process of the electric power steering motor shell and the high quality require-ments,the finite element model was established by the HyperMesh and ProCAST software,the casting process of the electric power steering motor shell was carried out and the location and size of defects inside the castings were pre-dicted.Trial-production was conducted based on the optimized process schme,and X-ray flaw detection observation was carried out for castings.The experimental results indicate that the defect prediction results are consistent with the actual casting,and shrinkage porosity and cavities appear on the lugs and thick walls on both sides of the housing.
